Japan, Ishikawa Prefecture (Kaga), Kutani. Dish, porcelain, with overglaze enamel decoration. Kutani ware, Yoshidaya style. Flat, shallow, oblong shape on round foot. Rim and sides of the curved ends are scalloped with interior ridges and ribs. Wide white band stretching across middle from the two straight with bird of blue, yellow, and red enamel, sitting in deep green bamboo. Red cloud, purple ground from white center to curved rim, with deep green leaf on each. Detail and outline in black lacquer. Four simple designs on underside; blue underglaze sawtooth pattern band on foot. Seal mark: fuku "riches" on center bottom. Height 2 centimeters, maximum rim diameter 17 centimeters.
