Yoruba woman's cloth fragment. natural cotton with bands of stripes running parallel to the selvage on each side. each band is made up of 11 stripes navy, natural, narrow navy, alternating narrow stripes of natural and taupe. narrow navy-natural-narrow-navy-alternating natural and taupe-narrow navy-natural-navy. closer to one selvage than on the other. finished fringe and embroidered natural taupe on one end. Conservation: 4 brass rings sewn to backside and 11cm from finished end.
