Cooking basket; twined. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is yellow Pine. White pattern is Beargrass (Xerophyllum tenax). Mended with Willow. Mush boiler; "(large deep twined)" added in pen. Extremely grimy and worn from use; 1 small hole in bottom, 1 mend on rim. White 2-faced overlay. 2 white stripes at top. Below, an all- over pattern of diagonal zigzags. Plain twined, except for 3-strand twining at 4 cm radius from start and 5.5 - 7 cm from start.
