Description:
Cast of “Bust of a Greek philosopher”. Found by Eugene Hambar at “The Baths of Diana” Smyrna. Molded in Smyrna. Both original marbles were bought by the Royal Brussels Museum. The subjects were probably statesmen or teachers of local renown. The workmanship is of the best imperial age (2nd century).
