Huipil: Backstrap-loomed, warp predominant plain weave. Single-faced and two-faced supp. weft brocading. Two pieces hand-stitched front, back and sides; end selvedges loom-finished, then joined by machine to 4 1/4" black commercial cloth. Head hole cut and slit, bound with velvet cloth machine-stitched to garment, sleeve holes bound with velvet.
