Ethiopian calendar. Didactic on back of mounted calendar states "Ethiopian script is derived from the ancient script of South Arabia, which in turn, is supposed to have been derived from Canaan in the second millennium B.C. (Above, 13-3808): Calendar for the month of Yekatit, 1947, corresponding to February-March 1955, in our calendar. (Below, Left 13-3809): Mr. Brady's permit to photograph in this Gondar region. (Right 13-3810) receipt for his fee for an exit visa without which no one can leave the country.
