Coiled. Round, flat base, flaring sides, circular design in light brown on natural ground. Per Ralph Shanks: Coiled low sided bowl. Foundation is deer grass bundle. Weft designs in orange juncus and light tan sumac. The wefts have clipped fag ends. Designs are four vertical angular designs with horizontal bands of alternating orange and tan. Workface is on the exterior, with a rightward work direction. The rim is plain wrapped. Clipped weft fag ends are known to occur occasionally on some Cahuilla baskets that have "Mission" style designs.
