Necklace; ivory necklace with braided fiber cord. Walrus ivory(?); mythological figure, curvilinear with openwork; circular face (with what appears to be identifiable walrus ivory markings on back). Two feet, each with three toes; on plaited and waxed flax(?) cordage which has toggle and loop. Presented by the Maori elders and youth on the occasion of their visit to this country in July, 1985.
