Rice cutter; bird shaped, carved and polished light brown-strained wood (possibly a rooster); head is bowed so beak connects with breast; geometric designs engraved on both sides of body; “Ratu” incised on one side, splits on other; wooden peg crosses back at 90 degrees; metal blade on belly. Agricultural tool used for cutting rice. 18.5 cm. head to tail.
