Ikat warp-face woven textile finished w/ 7 woven bands - 5 checked & 2 plain bands w/ 11cm twisted fringes at each end. woven design consists of snakes, skeleton figures & horses in alternating bands. colors are: rust, cream, dark brown & turquoise blue. vintage 1890. fringe is rust and dark brown. woven in 2 panels then hand joined. culture - Sumba conservation - good condition: some soil
