Dagger. Flanged hilt; blade has a thickened mid-rib, tapers to a rounded point. Crusty green patina. This form is more often seen as a dirk (i.e. 36-50 cm.); however, shorter examples are known from the mid-7th C Ishnikrab Temple. Earlier daing based on inscribed weapons such as dagger in LACMA Collection bearing the name of Marduk-nadin-ahhe. The origin of this type may have been Palestine, Dilica and Syria in the Middle Bronze Age. Max. L. 25.2 cm; L.handle 10.4 cm
