Miniature, round, in round gold metal bezel set in square, gold metal frame of cast filigree. Frame corners filled with heavier cast ‘ribbon.’ Gold metal, three-dimensional, five-ribbed, half crown of bezel top acts as hanging loop. Metal backing engraved ‘Louis XVthe - Coypel.’ Signed “Coypel 1748’ on left at shoulder level. Wall decoration. 11.81 x 9.91 cm.
