Description:
4" x 5" Negative. An Ituri (?) man mixes poisons for another Ituri man. Hoefler's original description: "Belgian Congo. Amongst the pygmies lives a giant who makes the poison for their arrows. Here he is shown mixing the potent stuff which kills anything of flesh that it strikes. A pygmy can be dangerous and a white man would have little chance against him in the forest for her could hide beside the path and shoot his arrows before his presence was known.
