Description:
Wool, striped, zigzag diamond design; red ground; brown and white design. This is an early "Flight of the Wild Geese" pattern. The colors are faded very little. The patching was done by the Navajo from whom it was purchased and the mending was done later.

Remarks: "This too was an "old" rug when purchased....The grey and "almost purple" are unusual for the probable age of 75 plus years, we were informed by the Los Angeles museum.
