Description:
Coiled basket fragment. Per Ralph Shanks: Two coils. Leftward work direction with a three rod foundation, probably willow and the rods are small. The basket fragment has an up to the right slant of weft twist. On one face of the basket most wefts are split. The wefts are fine. There may be a design material in this basket fragent. This fragment was found in a drawer that had objects checked out to Larry Dawson.
