Description:
Ceremonial baby carrier Indigo dyed hemp fabric edged in purple cord made of thread which was wrapped in silver wire to create silver and purple stripes. Main band of horizontal stripe appliqué. Straps finished in appliqué, tassels on strings of beads and bells. Cross stitching and appliqué with ric rac edging and coins on body of carrier.
