Box with lid (b): Red Cinnabar lacquer, on paper maché base; semi-precious stone and relief carved decoration: Rectangular, short, red exterior, black interior and bottom. Rectangular green-tinted jade panel inlaid in center top of lid (b) with seven small floral designs in carnelian, amber, coral, and green glass. Deep base relief: peony and leaves surround jade. Concentric diamond diaper ground on sides of both (a&b). "China" on bottom. Chips in rim ob (b) Height: 4.2cm; Length: 14.2 cm; Width: 9.6cm.
