bowls, ceramic, set of four. Fujina ware. nearly straight slanted sides, cut base to narrow foot ring, thick sides. blue-green glaze on exterior; transparent interior w/ some of the blue-green running into the interior form the rim. 5 firing stilt marks in bottom of each. grey to buff clay body. (a) warped oval rim, (b) has glaze-crawl patches where body shows through. rim broken and mended w/ black metallic substance. darkened base. (d) scratches on side. (a) H. 5.5 cm. D. 12 cm. (b) & (c) H. 6.5 cm Dia 12 cm. (d) H. 6 cm. Dia. 11.5 cm.
