Coiled, plate shape. Animal design. Tag "Mission Type". Per Ralph Shanks: Coiled broad basket bowl. Plain wrapped rim with several backstitches at the coil ending. Rightward warp direction. Deergrass bundle foundation. Wefts are juncus, both natural tan and orange, as well as black dyed. Designs are zoomorphic, floral and geometric. This basket has Cahuilla characteristics with both clipped fag ends and bound under fag ends, as well as the use of the design layout of isolated figures.
