- China. Bowl, porcelain with overglaze enamel decoration. Rose Canton tradeware. Human figure and architecture motif. Large hemisphere shape. Central medallion with five figures, surrounded by key-fret cloud pattern band of gilt. Wide band on interior side with two scenes containing figures. Narrow band near rim with flora and insect design on gilt ground. Exterior: four panels with two alternating designs with figures, surrounded by four of the emblems of the Eight Immortals. Floral bands on gilt near rim and on foot. Five large chips in rim. Broken and mended. Many cracks. Height 9 centimeters, diameter 21.2 centimeters.
