The brush container (a) is a hollow brass tube with oval shaped base; tooled surface in textured pattern; dark ‘antiqued’ ground. Hinged lid at one end. Band of brass near end holds loop for leather strap which is attached to the ink pot. Brush (c) is of bamboo and white hair. Appears unused and modern. The ink pot (b) is brass with matching decoration, and flat oval shape. Wide hinged lid on top with a stamped flower design. Interior is encrusted with ink and has brass grinding platform.
