The three often read articles are poised in front of a rising sun and above shafts of wheat. The inscription: “Actively study and use Chairman Mao’s works” (活学活用毛主席著作 huoxue huoyong Mao zhuxi zhuzuo) in purple. The motifs are repeated on the reverse. The interior is embossed with bird and flower motif. Inscription: Circular red kiln mark on foot: “Zi River porcelain factory of Hunan 1968” (湖南资江瓷厂 Hunan zijiang cichang 1968) Place of Origin: Yiyang, Hunan Province Condition: Very good with some minor wear Acquisition Data: Beijing 2003-2010
