Description:
Enamel mug with lid. The white ground is stenciled with a worker holding a shovel portrayed in red silhouette. Accompanying the image are two lines of inscription: In commemoration of Labor Exercise, Fenhe Reservoir, 1959 (劳动鍛煉纪念 汾河水库1959 Laodong duanlian jinian Fenhe shuiku). A cobalt blue bowstring decorates the rim. The handle and finial are partially decorated in the same color.
