Kayak model with model weapons, etc. (a) kayak, brown sealskin, sinew-sewn, over wood frame; sinew loops on deck for attachments; length 75 cm; (b) articulated harpoon, wood, sinew and ivory or bone, length 25 cm; (c) killing spear, wood, sinew, ivory or bone, length 22.7 cm; (d) paddle double-bladed type, wood, ivory, length 38.4 cm; (e) weapon rest, wood, length 4 cm; (f) sealskin float, bone stopper, length (float only) 5.5 cm. Context: See “Images of the North” appraisal, p. 74, for additional information. NOTE: ivory weapon rest to side of cockpit; also, empty loop on deck of kayak for missing hooked stick lost by Professor Graburn.
