Embroidered cloth: creamy white linen towel with plain center, 1” wide star border, twill weave edge with self fringe. Ink drawing of blossoms and leaves at each end. One pink flower has been worked, also 4 green leaves. White, pink, green. 15 1/2” x 23” 1 1/2” fringe/ Pattern and embellishment by Mary Lewis Jones schooled at Benecia, California convent 1890-1900.
