Description:
Table runner; plain weave, red warp ground w/ blue selvages. 2-faced discontinuous supplemantal weft w/ 36.0cm border for five 2-faced bands of various widths in green, ecru, & yellow and w/ large center repeating motif of dancing women in discontinurous supplemental weft in green, blue, ecru and yellow. Also, small figures of elephants and flowers woven in supplemental weft. Center has rosettes in primary colors scattered about in blue, green. Multi-colored tassels of yellow, green and blue attached to warp end.
