Description:
4" x 5" Negative. Nandi warriors sitting on flatbed of truck. Hoefler's original description: "The return to Kapsabet. It was necessary to transport the Nandi warriors over 500 miles to Camp Simba in Tanganyika territory. The Nandi have so thinned out the lions in their own country that it would have been almost impossible to secure the spearing pictures there; so the warriors were taken to a country where lions abound. Permission to do this was secured from the British authorities."
