carving. standing female figure on oval self-base. weight on left foot. holding something in right hand, against arm. left hand is raised and rests on the back of her head. head is in 3/4 rotation and looks down to the right. figure is nude except for 5 strings (?) of something wrapped around her hips. hair is in 4 rows from nape of forehead. compared to other Yoruba carvings, this piece is naturalistic. 30 cm tall.
