Red on white jar, 7th century BCE. Description from Matteucig (1951): Jar; height: 41.5 cm; diameter: 48.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XII, 8). Impasto type D. Clay reddish cream with many sandy particles; cream slip; decoration in mattred paint. Shape as in no. 8-1725, with flaring lip. Decoration very faint, similar to that of no. 8-1566. Vase restored from several fragments; many cracks; badly defaced by lime and mud.
