MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES: Backstrap loomed cotton singles in red,. silk floss in pink, green, yellow and purple. Native name and meaning: Tzute- multipurpose cloth. CONTEXT OF USE: The silk brocading covers the majority of the base cloth in vertical zigzag stripes in pink, green, yellow and purple. The stripes are repeated 5 times. No stripes in cofradia tzute.
