"Found" written in next to cat. number in ledger, refers to handwritten note in the front of the first volume of the Lillard ledger. The note reads: "Started checking specimens present in collection at U.C.M.A. on 3/8/50. Those present are marked "found" in back of catalogue number. W. Pendry".
