Description:
Twined, bowl shape. Per Ralph Shanks: Materials are tule cordage warps, wefts are tule, design is double sided overlay of beargrass. Designs include diagonal parallelograms and occasional triangles. Basket is primarily plain twined with a row of three strand twining at the rim. Rim has the warps bound down on the interior of the basket. Eastern Achumawi or Eastern Atsugewi or possibly Modoc.
