Figure, porcelain, one of seven (of eight original) immortals (Pa Hsien): Represents female immortal, Ho Hsien-ku, standing in half-bow with leg forward and arm held out across chest. Long stemmed lotus blossom held cradled in right arm to shoulder. Long tunic-robe with long sleeves and underglaze blue 'textile' and floral patterns. High top-knot with ribbon falling on shoulders. Traces of red on surface; very scratched, dirty. H. 24cm, max W 8.9 cm. Porcelain, molded and modeled. Underglaze blue decoration on white ground. The emblem of Ho Hsien-ku is the lotus; she assists in house management. One of a set of seven (9-13464-70)
