- Blouse; backstrap-loomed, plain weave, two-faced supplemental weft brocading, three pieces joined at back, front, sides, with randa, head hole cut out, hemmed with handstitching, decorated neckpiece, end selvedges loom-finished. Geometric borders, double-headed eagles, dots, triangles, zigzag designs. Materials, techniques: singles, cotton, white; wool, singles, multicolored, silk floss, white, gold; sedalina, two-ply, burgundy, fuchsia. Context of use: Neckpiece of commerical black cloth (faded), outlined with burgandy and magenta yarn; two medalions at shoulders have a pearl-like button at center; neckpiece hand-stitched, hem and cloth torn around lining; randa at mid-length with multi-colored yarns on both sides, front and back, and zigzag randa stitch in cotton blue yarn; uneven lengths in front and back of cloth; multicolored weft yarns found at bottom part. Conservation: Good, some dyes have bled.
