- Description: "14 1/8 in. x 1 1/2 in." "Quadrangular, round handle" "1."i`e kuku". Finishing beater. One side has 7 "nao" or ridges and is a "pepehi" surface, Fig. 111-c; one side has the "pepehi halua" surface, Fig. 112-b; one side is the "`upena pupu" surface, Fig. 113-c; the final side is the "`upena halua pupu" surface, but badly executed. Beaters made by men for use by women." (fide Barbara (Kanani) Burns, September 27, 1983)
