Storage basket, coiled. Light brown and black decoration. Per Ralph Shanks: Flaring coiled burden/storage basket. Deergrass bundle foundation. The background wefts are sumac. The design wefts are orange and tan juncus. An orange band is outlined by bands of triangles/zigzags. The basket has an interior workface, rightward work direction, and bound under weft fag ends. The rim is plain wrapped; the coil ending is tapered with two and a half inches of herringbone stitches.
