Sari; greenish gold silk with red border and pallav (part that goes over the shoulder) brocaded in gilt, purple, and green paisley and floral motifs. Length: 540cm, Width: 114cm. Context: Worn wrapped around the waist and over one shoulder; this one would be for special occasions. Made by men, mostly Muslims. Brocaded saris like this one are known as Benarsi (i.e. "on the loom") embroidered.
