Tea bowl, ceramic, Fujina ware. Almost vertical sides tapering to a narrow foot. Dark brown clay body. Thick finely crackled white, opaque glaze, inside and out, down to within 2.5 cm of foot. Many pineholds. Light blue-green glaze diffused with white, running in vertical lines from rim. Side broken and mended with gold. "Marriage spot" on side. Height 7.5 cm, Rim diameter 9.5 cm. From Japan, Shimane Prefecture (Izumo Province), Fujina. Attributed to 19th century.
