Miniature; Western European king in navy dress jacket with high red collar/ front piping. Six decorations (including sheep fleece on red ribbon). Miniature, oval set in oval gold metal bezel, set into heavy, rectangular, cast engraved brass frame of elaborate ‘picture frame’ type. Decoration include shells and leaves in relief. Ring hanger at top, attached metal identity leaf engraved ‘Chas. Xth - Bordes.’ Backed in silver/red brocade. Signed ‘Bordes’ below mid left edge. Probable wall hanging. 14.1 x 10.89 cm.
