- A manuscript made of rectangular strips of palm ("thali") leaf engraved with a stylus in an archaic Malayazhma script, bound between dark brown jackwood ("Artocarpus integrifolia") strips; pierced and secured by a cord. Native name and meaning: "thali ollai grantham" (palmetto leaf treatise). Width 4.3 cm, length 19 cm.
