- Navajo rug, "Storm Pattern Variant", wool; woven in natural and aniline-dyed handspun yarn with a design of bold addorsed saw-tooth chevrons connecting at the center, four stepped diagonals (lightning) terminating in white squares (sacred peaks) in a storm pattern variant with a bold zigzag border, the border background changing from tan to black at each end, in red, black, white, light tan, and red on a variegated light brown field.
