Embroidered triangle; linen, silk, metallic yarn, glass, ink; plain weave, satin stitch and couched embroidery, ink tinting, relief shaping, ink sketch; black and grey on natural linen, blue, white, green, black, gold; 17 1/2 by 28 1/2 inches; embroidered triangle with old man on flying crane's back, gold and silk couching and satin stitch. Relief shaping on man's face, crane's beak. Eye is painted under glass. Linen lining has brush painting of water lilies.
