4 x 5" Black and white negative of a hooded cobra. Hoefler's original description: "Indian Wild Animals. Close-up front view of a hooded cobra. When the snake is undisturbed, this hood collapses. It is only when he is angered that the hood is extended, giving him an awesome appearance. These powerful reptiles strike with great force, and because of the length of their bodies are able to reach quite a distance from where they are coiled.
