4 x 5" Black and white negative of wild boars at the Chambal River. Hoefler's original description: "Indian Wild Animals. Photograph shows Indian wild boars on the bluffs overlooking the Chambal River in Rajputana. Note the buildings in the distance. These pigs are not eaten by the inhabitants of this State, nor are they hunted for sport, and because their only enemies are the tiger and wolf, they have increased tremendously.
