MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES: Cotton: white background; red, yellow and green geometric weft in body. Embroidery of silk floss in magenta, yellow, purple and blue-green. Wool weft, off-white, lavender, light green, purple, and blue. Half medallions in satin-weave cloth. CONTEXT OF USE: Ceremonial or cofradía huipil, one of 27 huipiles from Sacapulas. Iconography: Geometric in woven body. Embroidery in pinwheel/fan /oval motif. Weaver's mark of red, yellow, green cotton, 2-3 singles.
