- Treadle-loomed, weft-faced plain weave; cut warps, one piece (un-sewn). 549 cm x 91.5 cm. Acrylic or wool: singles in black, yellow, orange. Cotton: singles in Jaspeado black/white and black/yellow; Acrylic or wool: two-ply in fuchsia, green, brown, gold, turquoise, yellow and purple. Bought at San Martin Jilotepeque market; woven by men on treadle looms in Salcaja, Quezaltenango. These cortes are worn by women all over the Highlands. Yellow and orange warp yarns at each selvage may be weaver's mark. This corte is part of a woman's complete traje for this town, and is an everyday corte.
