Ink stick and box. Upper and lower half of ink stick glued together again. Inscription over impressed picture in front: “The moon’s (image) is stamped upon the Three Ponds (of the West Lake at Hangchou).” On the reverse: “On the shimmering water, the hills and the moon dance together; the Ten-Mile Dam brightens the whole landscape. (signed) Hu K’ai-wen made it.” 6.5 x 1.5 x 0.9 cm. In padded cardboard box. a) top of box; b) bottom of box; c) ink stick.
