Description:
Ginger jar, ceramic; Hexagonal, straight sides taper from narrow base to high shoulder, narrow rounded neck/mouth. Relief molded floral panels on each side and ju-i pattern band on sholder. Blue-green exterior glaze. Bottom and neck unglazed. Dark brown interior glaze. Melted wax on bottom of interior. Wrapped in cross wove rattan with two carry-loops. No lid. Similar to 9-13458 H. 9cm, Dia, 11cm Earthenware, mold-made, blue-green, brown glazes; rattan. Commercial preserved ginger jar
