Peruvian figure on a litter. Carved wooden figure sitting on a litter with a high back rest. Base is trapezoid in shape with 3-tiered levels of two which are decorated with triangular patterns. Figure is sitting or squatting at center; has inlaid green stone eyes. Back rest is rectangular with top edge concave. Entire back rest is bordered with small, round, shell beads inlaid in the wood.
