Dagger. Recessed hilt with small flanges at lower end; convex pommel; slender honed blade with edges tapering to rounded point; thickened mid-rib. Variegated patina. Typologically similar to 9-16751 and 752, proportionately more slender. Flanging is now abbreviated. Probably is typologically related to similar dirks such as those excavated at Hasanlyu, Level V with prototype from Mesopotamia and or Elam. Max.L. 27.7 cm; L. of handle 9.7 cm.
